I am a repeat customer and am now on my second set of products! I started with the Vata oil, Kapha cleanser and Pitta cream and instantly found all three very calming. The Vata oil is deeply hydrating, applies with a velvety feel and does not look oily (even though I have combination skin). It also gives a soft glow on the skin. The cleanser is a real surprise – love how you can apply and get the sensation of a deep massage but the thoroughness of a cleanser in one. The smell is also adorable!
Having sampled all the creams in the range I can confirm that every single one is a delight to use – they are all deeply nourishing (especially when mixed with a drop of the oil) but also light enough to use as a base for light make up.
I don’t use Samaya all the time as I tend to cycle through a range of skincare products but since discovering Samaya, I have always returned to the products when in need of some recovery.
I have started to use Samaya products when on holiday. Knowing that I am putting only natural products on my skin when I need protection against the elements is important to me. In very hot and humid climates my skin tends to react and become very greasy but on a recent trip to Sri Lanka I used the earthy Kapha cream with sandalwood and vetivert and found it helped with open pores and I didn’t experience any oily skin.
Another thing that I love about the range is that you can smell all the goodness in the products so when you apply and use them, you feel you aren’t only feeding the skin but also the mind and the soul.
