Returns / Cancellation Rights
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly issue you a refund or exchange on the condition that you return to us all goods within 14 days of your receipt of the goods and that they are in their original, unopened and undamaged condition. We take into account the condition of the goods being returned when making a refund. Only items purchased on samayaayurveda.com may be accepted for return or exchange by us.

If you fail to notify us within 14 days of receiving the products, we are not obligated to provide a refund.
Once your email has been received by us you will be sent instructions via email for returning the products, including the relevant address to mail the products to. We recommend that you return your items by recorded delivery as we cannot be held responsible for lost returns.

They are very well thought through and only use natural ingredients – I find this very reassuring as I want to know what I am putting on my face! After washing my face my skin can feel tight and dry. The creams absorb well, are non-greasy, and the scents have a relaxing quality. My favourite is Kapha which has a warm, herbal smell and is quite masculine. However, I sometimes change and use Vata which is lighter, fragrant and awakening.

I love the feel of the creams which provide the deepest moisture and hydration yet are surprisingly light and quickly absorbed. It is a close tie between Vata and Pitta for my favourites (I am a Vata-Pitta type). I like the light Vata fragrance from start to finish. The Pitta is a bit stronger at first but quickly dissipates and I felt it lingered longer than the Vata fragrance so in the end I was torn between the two. I will probably use the Pitta in the morning as I find it more invigorating and the Vata at night as I find it more calming and it helps me unwind and sleep better after a long day.

The presentation of the products is luxurious and the personal note from Abida is lovely. I am really enjoying using the Vata range of products. I discovered SAMAYA in Whole Foods. I was looking for a cream for my dry skin that is prone to dryness and psoriasis. My “dosha” or type is Vata. I bought the Anti-Ageing cream and face oil and began using the cream and oil the very same evening. Unbelievably, and I don’t say this often, my skin the next morning had responded to the products beautifully. My psoriasis had lessened and my skin felt silky to the touch!! I tend to mix a couple of drops of the cream together with only one drop of the oil and massage it into my face. The result is instant silkiness without the greasiness you get with oil.

After months of online research and watching YouTube product reviews, the SAMAYA Ayurveda for Vata is exactly what I’d been searching for. At 52, my skin requires quite a lot of moisture, and before I tried SAMAYA at John Bell & Croyden, it had been difficult to find something the right “weight” going on, which smells lovely and calming, which lasts all day and which gives my face a wonderful, healthy glow every time I use it.
The packaging is perfect and hygienic. I use one pump of the Vata oil and spend a minute massaging it into my face, focusing under my eyes. I then apply one pump of the anti-ageing crème to my face and massage that on top of the oil. Voilà, smooth, soft and glowing skin which holds moisture all day. I repeat every night before bed. It take less than 2 minutes and I’ve more or less stopped using all concealer and powder on my face. I’ve also cast aside all the other products which used to sit on the basin. I simply don’t need anything else.
I love the fact that everything is sourced and made locally, that the ingredients are pure and that I’m supporting a small, female-owned business. Please don’t change a thing!

I discovered SAMAYA in London in 2019 at Whole Foods Kensington. I noticed on a flier there that the founder was in the shop talking about her products that day. I was in need of a moisturiser so went along to meet her. She was very helpful and I liked the way the products were naturally produced. I bought the Vata moisturiser and Vata oil that day. That was the best thing as it was the oil that really made a difference to my dry and sensitive skin. I mix the oil with the cream for night time. I made the products last a long time by interspersing them with another moisturiser but I have to say the SAMAYA product is superior to my regular one. So I just ordered four of the creams and oils!
Tasmania is in the path of the “Roaring Forties” winds and the sun has a very high UV rating. The impact of these elements on my skin, alongside an outdoors lifestyle and much sunscreen, makes the skin sting and highly sensitive. Along with the challenge from the elements my skin is hypoallergenic and SAMAYA’s Vata moisturiser and oil actually soothe and settle the skin.

Since I have tried the Vata face cream I have experienced massive changes in my skin tone and just how even and more in balance my skin looks and feels. I have used the product over a year now, big plus is the glass bottle as I try to remove any plastic in my routine. I love the finished look too as I feel it just creates the most beautiful and flattering finish to the skin. I can’t recommend it enough. I really enjoy their supplements too.
